We are a local group supporting local breast cancer patients. With the help of local business, we raise money to help patients pay bills, buy groceries and other necessities so they can focus on their fight.

More women are diagnosed with breast cancer than any other cancer, besides skin cancer. This year, an estimated 268,600 women in the United States will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and 62,930 women will be diagnosed with in situ breast cancer. An estimated 2,670 men in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
It is estimated that 42,260 deaths (41,760 women and 500 men) from breast cancer will occur this year.
In one way or another, breast cancer has affected just about everyone. This is why we organize our fundraising events (the 5K and Fun-Run) so the community can come together. Cancer is not a battle that is won alone, and we want our fighters to know that we support them.
There are several ways to get involved with Bras Across the CAUSEway. Regardless of how you chose to help, we want you to know that your contribution goes straight to breast cancer patients in lower Alabama. Our cause provides aid to patients battling breast cancer so they can focus on what is important.

Make every step matter during our 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run starting at Meaher State Park. Food, drinks and bounce houses are available. There is something fun for everyone during our family-friendly event!
